Hello and welcome to my blog… I am so excited you are here! Here’s a little backstory on how I started this adventure. In July of 2019, we started the build process on our current home. It might surprise you to hear that we were not actually planning to build a home. We had recently finished a complete renovation on both our kitchen and primary bathroom and honestly thought that home would be our forever home. It definitely was not in our plans to renovate our home just to move a year later. One of the things my husband and I both enjoy is driving through neighborhoods and looking at homes. There was a new neighborhood that we especially loved to drive through. We actually had friends who had just built a home there and told us how much they loved the neighborhood. So, on a whim, we called our realtor and looked at an available lot. The next thing we knew, we were meeting with a builder and designing our dream home. Building a home is both a stressful and exciting time. I had a vision in my head of what I wanted our home to look like. It was so much fun seeing my vision come to life.
